The Silent Pianist Speaks – Neil Brand

Live event, with clips of silent films.  Neil wrote:

“I had a terrific time with Berwick Film Society – I was hugely impressed by the organisation and the venue, which was more than matched by the warmth of the audience – there are times on the day of a show when you reach a venue and your heart sinks because things don’t feel right and you know exactly how the show will go that night – this was the opposite. From the first steps into the Maltings and meeting the BFS team and members I knew that I was going to thoroughly enjoy the show that night, because it would be relaxed, fun and a bit unpredictable. Always the best ones – like trying out new material, you need to feel safe doing it. Berwick was a blast; thank you.”
